I hate to say it, but 2011 kinda sucked. It had it’s ups, but the downs of 2011 pretty much shat on my life. Hope 2012 is a better year for me…

Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Christmas Eve (and Christmas) I’m currently working on my last two supplements! WOO! Tonight before opening presents, I’m gonna submit everything. Nothing like submitting the last of ten applications and then jumping on a plane to Texas to officially start winter break.

Throwback to 2008. 

I’m a person who believes in nonviolence and tolerance, so I’ve got some serious mixed feelings about Veterans Day. While two of my great uncles fought in Vietnam, one of my uncles is currently in the Navy, and my grandfather was in the army (at one point in his life), I’m not a fan of the military. That is not to say that I’m anti-American or anti-liberty or whatever you want to call it. I have the utmost respect for members of our armed forces. It takes a lot of strength to leave your home, suffer the damages of war, and return home to try to reintegrate yourself back into society. It’s the people pulling the strings who I am skeptical of. Sometimes I feel like Veterans Day is a ploy for those higher ups to distract us from the fact that in the end, the ones who send our armed forces to die is them. But that’s just my personal opinion, what do you think?
